Can anybody confirm what the deferment levels are for 96,97,98 student loans, the SLC website lists two different amounts.0

£26,727 per year I think.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I have found it says £2227.00 (£26724 a year) on one page on the website, but another lists, but on another £2398.00 (£28776 per year)
This on the http://www.honoursstudentloans.co.uk/default.aspx
*
For the 2014/2015 academic year the deferment threshold is £2227.00 a month.
*
Customers who are earning in the excess of the deferment income threshold (currently £2398.00 gross per month) are obliged to maintain their monthly repayments in full (in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of their Student Loans).0 -
Obviously some mistakes on their site then.
The correct figure is the £26,727 one, which works out at £2227 PCM,Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Has anyone who tried to defer with a letter and proof last year received this years DAF?
I am in dispute and arrears regarding last years deferment, complaint is with FOS, and deferment is up mid May so in around 3 weeks, but I have received no new DAF from Erudio.
Their FAQ says they will send out a DAF if you are in deferment so will they not bother with me while they pile on the arrears?0 -
I sent them a letter with proof of income earlier this year, and am still going through the rigmarole of trying to defer. This morning I have received a letter saying that 'as we have not sufficient evidence to support your deferment application, your application has now expired.
I sent them MORE than the required information (3 months of payslips, signed letter written from a template found online), but as I didn't complete their DAF, they're not deferring me.
Currently writing my latest response (which, as usual, I'll be emailing and posting).
I'm also in the process of trying to sort all the information into date order to send to the FOS. Should I email this or post it? Or both?
Here's the response to my last complaint (I received the cheque - which I haven't cashed - a few days later).0 -
Of all the areas where they need to maintain consistency for us all, having us provide a signature is the least of my troubles, if i were to be asked. My gripe about that, is my signiture giving these vultures the chance to take that as agreeing to the page and a half, or on the new form, their additional gumpf on their website that may lead to me inadvertently giving them new permissions.
Good luck with that fight evilsheep. They have caved in before on this issue, so maybe some of those who were deferred in this way can give you the specific bit of advice that may help you via your private mail if they dont want to publish in the forum.0 -

I've sent a response, this time asking them to clearly define why they're not deferring me, even though I've sent them more info than their own DAF asks for.
The line 'Erudio has adopted a different approach to the deferment application' bugs me; what next, they'll adopt a 'different approach' to what the deferral threshold should be? I still don't understand why, as I've clearly shown them that my income is below threshold, and thus complied with the Student Loan regulations, that they won't defer!
I'm also not happy with the compensation cheque - this almost feels like some kind of bribe! It's ridiculous that they state they're keen to 'reach an amicable resolution', yet not by accepting my deferral without THEIR signed DAF.
The reason I didn't sign their DAF in the first place was because they hadn't sent it to the correct address ...0
