Popla appeal, is this ok, comments welcomed please
It's fine in wording - but too late surely? Have you checked your code on the POPLA code checker in the Parking Cowboys link in post #3 of the the NEWBIES thread? I sincerely hope you report back that you will submit it online in the morning, urgently, and that you will just be scraping in within the 28 days from the date the code was generated (which the code checker will tell you).PRIVATE 'PCN'? Pronto, pronto, pronto, get it off. Don't lose your golden opportunity to get shot of this for good.
If you've missed the deadline you're in for all sorts of fun that you don't want, and could've so easily been avoided.
Court is not the usual ECP modus op, but if you've missed out on POPLA make sure you don't ignore any future LBCCC or LBA - get back if one comes through your letterbox! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

good news, had an email from POPLA to say Eurocar parks have now cancelled the parking notice and therefore POPLA have allowed the appeal. Many thanks for the help and guidance from this forum0

Hi there "truebluesfan",
I hope you don't mind but i have copied & pasted your POPLA wording & tweaked it for our case. It is a brilliant piece of writing by the way - so thank you for sharing it on the forum.
However when i have read it all back I noticed that point 9. has no paragraph listed, the point is listed but the paragraph is not there after no 8.
Would you mind posting it & if its relevant then i could tweak it for our case? If not then i'll just remove that point.
Thank you in advance.0 -
That's because he used an old template (it's not that brilliant...there are newer examples of writing about 'no GPEOL' with much better points) and 'Business Rates' is pointless as an appeal point, it always was. You don't need 9 points in a POPLA appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Could I just ask in this case then please, is there a new template for a POPLA appeal for Euro Car Parks? I am at the POPLA stage with them and I am doing my homework, clicked "how to win at POPLA" and it linked me to this page, but it seems the appeal in this thread is now classed as outdated?
Thanks
