For anyone that knows a thing or 2 about cameras, what is this like for the price?

For straight forward snaps on holiday ect it is not a bad camera for the price and will give you far more choices than your last camera did.
A lot will depend on just what you want to get out of a camera, Polaroid IMO are trying to play catch up in the digital market and fall a fair way behind the "good" makes of Cannon,Olympus,Pentax ect but that is reflected in the price.
As I say if it is just for use a few times a year for the price it is not a bad deal but if you want to grow your photography in the future I would still go for a bridge camera to start but from a better manufacture
