How long does it take to win on Twitter!

Was just wondering if one of you kind lovelies could check to see my twitter profile looks normal? Only because it's the site I haven't managed to win anything through and I'm worried I've done something to the privacy settings or something. Probably just a matter of time though maybe?

Good to Know comps are now a daily magazine entry - just seen Firefly has posted it...

I gave up doing twitter competitions- have never won one...

Out of around 150 wins in the last couple of years, only ''1'' was a twitter win..

Dont pin your hopes on twitter there are too many people with 10+ accounts tweeting, and using auto tweeters etc..
And unless youre a blogger you aint going to win much, as most companies WILL PICK a blogger to win so they get free adverts (underhand but true)

BTW re Twitter comping, I think it's one of those things like Facebook where some folks are REALLY lucky and others (like me), win once in a blue moon :rotfl::mad::rotfl:(The comping fairy hates me :rotfl:)
It's just something to keep having a go at, but I don't tweet anything and everything, because I don't want to clog up the feeds of those friends I have on who don't comp IYSWIM.
I think it took me about 1500ish tweets before I won something, and I've won about 5 times all together, so about 1 win every 1000 tweets.;)
Oh, and when I started on Twitter, someone on here kindly gave me some advice along the lines of posting the odd tweet now and again, i.e 'just making a brew' so it doesn't look spammy.

p.s numpty moment, but just read VanPopple's post, I didn't know you were allowed to have more than one Twitter account, just goes to show how 'not with it' I am about such things

i won a phone in 2012 but that was a q&a comp and just won last month but tat was an external site survey through twitter

Youre not and its same with FB but there are some peeps who 'cheat the system' mind you alot of these do get spotted by the 'mothers circle' and they will bombard the promoters if they spot a cheat.

I can't understand the need to have lots and lots of TW & FB accounts - You'd never be off your bum trying to keep up with all the comping stuff. I thought that, especially Facebook, clamped down on multiple accounts, I'm guessing because it's so big a network, it's hard for them to keep track too.
I have seen a few 'cheating' posts on FB, but I just let them get on with it. Although it does make interesting reading sometimes.
It's one of those things in life, I suppose, there will always be those who will try and 'cheat the system' I don't agree with it, and it's a shame, especially when the prize is something so trivial sometimes, it makes you wonder why they go to some much effort to cheat.

But why bother as op says most of the time the prizes arent huge, and the big big prizes like tvs, cash etc.. Are checked thoroughly for dupe accs...

Sometimes its hard enough keeping up (just mse comping only aswell) with just 1 fb, 1 twitter, 1 pinterest, 1 Blogger, 1 instagram account, I nearly always never ever get every single comp id like to enter done, i have to go very selective especially towards end of month..
Some people just sit at their pcs/tabs etc all day every day (look at mothers circle fb, there are some women (the odd bloke) who seem to be able to comp from 5am to 1-2am EVERY DAY?????
Seriously these women need to get real lives
