I'm sorry OP, but she is messing you around and you are letting her take advantage of you over and over again.

I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and that all her excuses are genuine but I think I've come to the end of the road! I've decided that I'm not going to answer any more of her questions and just close the case once the time comes and be done with it. My patience has just run out. She doesn't think that she's messing me around but if the shoe was on the other foot........

You've got it in black and white that she's brought and paid for other items...this thread is a joke... you must know she is having you on.
People don't know what they want until you show them.

I am a very understanding and patient person and if someone is having a problem, I like to try to help. I don't like to just open a case after 4 clear days as there can be personal reasons for what is happening with a person. The fact that she couldn't pay for multiple items on her mobile phone was the issue and that seemed to be where she was having her problems. If she had been paying for just one item and I had seen that she is buying and paying for other items successfully, then things would have been very different.

I tried to be understanding and wait until she sorted out her payment problem but it just became one excuse after another. Sorry that you think this thread is a joke but it's been no joke for me as I've found it so stressful and that's why I asked for other people's advice to help me make a decision. I have used EBay for many years and never had a problem like this.

  • There is a difference between being understanding and helping people and being allowed to be taken for a fool. You are sadly the latter, in this instance.

I can be understanding and patient too, but I won't be messed about. You are being taken for a fool.

When I list items, I have placed in my settings the minimum of 3 days of non payment and a case is opened automatically. Buyer does have time to settle before I am refunded my fees.

Note: Find the feature on your account and turn it on, along with many other options.

Send buyer combined invoice - never change this, once deal is done. I assume you accept PayPal, as your preferred method of payment. Never deal with cheques/PO.

Contact ebay, to open a case - get shot of this time waster buyer. Call Ebay and deal over the phone, or use web chat.

Buyer is full of !!!!, even if phone app didn't work, they could have used a webshack or friends PC to logon to PayPal and get it dealt with. This is too long a stall.

Whatever, don't ship until you have cleared funds - Basic Rule.

Get your items realised with new settings, and don't mess about.

If you want loyalty - get a dog:rotfl::rotfl:

All my posts are my opinion, and the actions I would take.
