Jet 2 v easyjet price comparison

The jet2 price works out at least £250pp is that right? In my opinion that is far too much for Malaga, even for half term. We flew to Malaga for half term a couple of years ago and paid about £120 each. We regularly fly to Murcia at peak times, including July and August and have never paid more than £200. Last October we looked at going away and Malaga, along with Majorca and Portugal were all coming less than £150 for flights during october half term, we opted for Portugal last time.
I would say hang fire and wait, but if you think it's a decent price and are happy to pay it then do so. We can only give you our opinion but we have no say over what easyjet / ryanair etc wil actually charge and they could charge a lot more this year, nobody really knows.Lea

I assume you've played with departure options on this website's own version of sky scanner etc
http://flightchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/
which shows cheaper options than Jet2 in late October....
I was about to make the same point as budgetflyer; that BA from Gatwick are reasonable, with 3 flights a day, and in some ticket classes, affordable baggage options and free booze on board! It's a long drive for you, but if you save enough, you could maybe afford an airport hotel the night before or night after with free parking, at about £100-150 from 'holidayextras' or from the hotels?
We went to Malaga with BA last week; very impressed by the service as we went from London City, which, with cabin baggage only, was actually cheaper if we factor in travel to and/or parking at cheaper airports such as Stansted or Gatwick (we can get the bus to LCY on the freedom pass!)

Jet2 prices have been really competitive lately, although wait until EZY release their prices. Somestimes Jet2 have a promo code to save 10% on return flights SAVE10 it generally is.0
