It's mine and my girlfriend's first anniversary coming up next month. I am looking for a nice restaurant to take her to - she loves Chinese or Italian. Any suggestions?

    Look up Tripadvisor and filter the results for London by cuisine type. It will show you the highest-rated, and where they sit in rankings for all the restaurants in London.

    You can filter by price if budget is important.

    Head into Chinatown. The atmosphere is fantastic and there are some great restaurants that aren't too expensive.
