We are back to the start of looking for a house after one has just fallen through. I've been using zoopla, just because it seems to give a lot more information than rightmove, but I've just realise they don't both have the same properties on them. I have only found 1 estate agent so far who only advertises some properties on zoopla, rather then all. Any advice on which online sites to look at and how they differ would be appreciated.
thanks

As a seller, I switched from an EA who only advertised on Rightmove to one who used RM and Zoopla. Some buyers do only look on one site.
If I was a buyer, I'd check both.0 -
My experience is that Zoopa gets the properties to my inbox quicker, by a few hours so in a fast market where you want to get an appointment to view those few hours are useful.
I use both and have properties sent through to me within my set criteria.0 -

Google the area that you're looking at with 'for sale', possibly with the type of property you seek. The most-used sites will appear at the top of the search results. You can then go to those sites to look for other properties. For example, your search terms could be
'Croydon house for sale'
'Acacia Avenue 2 bedroom flat for sale'
'Hertfordshire houses for sale'
If you're looking to buy in Scotland, a different set of portals apply.0 -
I'll carry on with both then. Googler- the top 2 are zoopla and rightmove, then local estate agents.0
