Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!

I started to reclaim my bank charges in March, and it's now going to court.
I paid an initial fee of £130.
After a few weeks I received a letter asking for a further £100 allocation fee(?).
I duly paid this and have now done some research online only to discover that the court should have issued an 'Allocation Questionnaire' for me to fill in.

I received a letter today asking for more details, but i don't know what further details I can give them except the copies of the bank statements that I originally sent them.

When I ring the court, they cannot give legal advice themselves, so I'm finding it difficult to know what to do next.
I'm beginning to wish I hadn't bothered.
Any advice would br really appreciated.

Allocation Questionnaire's are increasingly dispensed with to make everyone's life a little bit easier so you don't necessarily have to fill one in. The £100 fee remains payable though, and is reclaimable from the bank.Who did you receice a letter from, the bank or the court? You do not have to give the bank or their solicitors any more info than your list of charges and interest calculation - everything else is for the court to ask.Search this board for "court bundle" to know which documentation to take to your court date.

    Thanks for replying.
The letter came from the District Judge. I can't quote directly as I've left it at work!, but the basic gist was that he wouldn't continue without further details.

That sounds serious. When you have the letter in front of you, maybe post what it exactly said so we can be of more help.

  • Have you tried sending them a copy of the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999. You can download it from the internet.
