Hi there
My daughter was given a provisional bursary of 80% to go to a private secondary school. We then had a visit from their people who make sure you can afford the payments. He said that the bursary was already set at the 80% amount for this year but may change if my circumstances change.
We recieved a letter today stating the bursary is now 50% which we are not going to be able to afford. My question is can they do this and it is proper? I only ask this as I will not be earning the same this year as I was last year.

The bursary isn't guaranteed and will depend on the school's income and also on your own income. Contact the school bursar straight away and explain that your income has changed/will be changing - they may ask you to fill in another application.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10
