I have a feeling that if they gave the job to a monkey, the warehouse would soon be in chaos.Never Knowingly Understood.

He clearly is hoping that you will be sanctioned thus affording him the opportunity to buy your tshirt at a bargain price.0

Yes changes in April and after the Work program you could be signing daily or on a Community Work Placement0

The t-shirt thing is wearing thin now in more ways than one, how about coming up with a new method of being discriminated against OP?0

My partner had an interview with a his advisor last week and they handed him a booklet full of jobs based 15miles+ away (on public transport this means over 1hr 20mins travelling there and the same back each day). He was told that on April 1st (which is when they booked his next appointment for) he will have to pick any one of the 50 jobs listed and he will be working for his JSA (all jobs were listed as permanent 35+ hours per week). Telling you that you will either be signing on daily or attending a community work program is very plausible and something im sure we'll see more posts about on the next few weeks.
Thankfully my partner managed to swing 3 interviews in one week and was offered all 3 jobs - he took up employment with two of those - has already started his first job over the weekend (of which he has the feet blisters to prove) and the other he will be starting this coming friday - which for us means after thursday he will not have to put up with the JC.
In these current time you have to take whatever work you can get - we may be worse off financially, but if it means we dont have the worry that so many unemployed face weekly, it's gotta be worth it!!!!0 -

I kind of agree with that but probably because of my circumstance. mortgage-therefore no payment I lose the house.
Morality doesn't pay the bills so if no economic sense is made by taking very low paid work then I can understand why those in the rented or social housing sector wouldn't want to take it.
I can fully understand taking basic work rather than going to the jc.0
