Making seedballs- what kind of clay is safe?
Hi everyone!
I hope it's okay for me to post this here. I'm trying to make seedballs as a seasonal gift (since I already have a leftover bag of compost and plenty of wildflower seeds) but I'm struggling to figure out what kind of clay is safe to use in making them.
I don't want to risk poisoning the soil. Does anyone know if basic 'airdrying' modelling clay is okay? Or if it has to be a certain type? If anyone knows good places to buy/order it that would be even better!
Thanks eveyone! :j

I had to actually look this up as I was confused with the ones you make to feed birds. What most say is dried red clay powder.
