SLC help

Hi,
I am currently at my wits end because the Student Loans Company (Student Finance England specifically) has managed to lose £3,250 of my tuition fees for 2012/2013. I think they made a mistake or something with my initial application and managed to place that £3,250 into a fictitious account. Apparently there are several students at my university who are having the same issues.
The university has been trying to contact them for over a year now and I have issued my third complaint since October which has been forwarded to the enquires office.
The SLC insist that it has been paid but it evidently hasn't because I was suspended earlier this week for non-payment of the my tuition fees. Thankfully because of the ongoing query the suspension was lifted by the end of the day.
I am just so stressed out and don't know what to do. I am going to see my MP in April, is she likely to be able to help? Also would it be worth escalating it again to the independent assessors and is that likely to solve anything?
Thank you very much for any help. It is much appreciated.

What does your online login say about fees payment?
Did you change courses/universities in that year from the one you originally applied for?0
