Is out of date fish food still viable?

It is probably still too cold to feed them? I am not feeding mine at the moment, the temp is still under 10 degrees and that can effect their digestive system, as in it will be slow and may not digest the man made food easily.

Love the name :rotfl: when was the last time you fed them, then?0

Start of November. I know that sounds dreadful but they do slow down with the cold and seem dormant, even tho technically I am not sure they are. it just looks that way. (like hibernating hamsters people thought were dead but they weren't)
I check on them and I can still see them alive and well. I may to be honest have lost one but he is a darker colour and I often can't see him so I am not 100%.
If the current weather holds for this week I may start to feed them again. I must clean out the filter too.
