Hi Richard thanks for taking the time to give me all that info not at all regimented and very informative :A

I spoke to CCCS back in December 06 and it was their recommendation then that we go bankrupt as our finances are dire they said we have no disposible income however as I was pregnant at the time (due to previous loss my pregnancies are v.v. stressful) I said that I would like to pay something to my creditors to keep them off my back and their suggestion was £1 each per month. We have ten creditors plus two CCJ's but things are not straight forward for us (not that I am saying it is for anyone else either) we have the business issue then there is also that our car finance was arranged through my father so we could get a good rate and the advisor I spoke to was unsure that I could continue to repay that obviously I couldn't dump my dad in it after he did it as a favour to us and we had to buy the car for transport to my place of work and also our expanding family. We just need to start again we feel completely lost at present and just as if we have this really tight noose around our necks and don't know what to do next don't feel we will ever be in a 'good' financial position and its all a bit hopeless.

I just want to say Hi I have never visited this part of the site before today and have loads of questions but don't feel quite ready to ask most of them yet a couple of these are we are a yong family and most of our debt about 12,000 is from my hubbys first marriage we are paying token payments at present £1 pm but wondered if bankruptcy would be a better option don't really know much about what it means just really tired of all the stress we are at breaking point with it trying to put on a brave face and feeling like rubbish when we can't afford £10 pm there is also the fact that hubby is self employed in a partnership with his father don't know how it would affect that so many questions and bricking it have lived like this for years and its taking its toll.
Thanks for the welcome everyone it makes all the difference.

    Hi Poppy,

As soon as you feel ready to ask any specific questions then post them on a thread of their own and you might be pleasantly surprised at how quickly you can put past mistakes behind you and get on with enjoying today and the rest of your life.

    Regards

    Richard

Mmmm, I'll have a think about that Neko,

Maybe have half a dozen templates with the paragraphs in a different sequence; French & Spanish translations too.

Thinks to oneself: "I used it twice yesterday and Neko didn't notice".:rotfl: :rotfl:
