Well, seems that 5% of social housing is down to immigration compared to the 1% figure that the Government let us believe. The RTB scheme was also mentioned as a contributry factor.

Low interest rates and BTL LLs weren't even mentioned. Must be too many people and too few houses then. Rocket science it ain't.

I guess the regulars were watching something intelligent on BBC1.

    Radio four, dear boy.
"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.

doesnt matter if its social housing or not unless people are living in tents then they will drive up property prices cause btl landlords will buy houses and convert them for the immigrants.

that said the eastern european immigrants have brought a lot of gains to my area(west coast scotland) displacing the local benefit farmed junkies and the usual 3rd world incomers who dont understand the normal social customs like not tossing your rubbish out on the street to rot when the bin men will collect it for free.

at least to poles etc are usually well educated, hard working and of a similar historical origin, they are reinvigorating the areas they move into and forcing the normal scum to behave like members of the human race.

that said a population swell has likely worsened a problem of pathetic government planning but why by that logic we should be demanding euthanasia of all the old codgers in big houses, fix the problem and build more houses.
