Letter saying getting visit to see if I'm getting correct esa, is this normal??

Just received in post today. That's all it says. I have just had to send off a lot of info as was got no points after my last medical and the decision won't be made til next week. Anyone else ever had this letter or visit?

    It is fairly routine that they select a number of people, and do varying depths of benefit checks on them.
    This goes all the way from simple letters to detailed in-person checks that you are getting all the possible benefits you can claim.
    This is for statistical reasons - to see how many people should be claiming that aren't, for example.
