CO-OP Endowment Policy

I have a CO-OP Endowment Policy which is scheduled to pay off part of my mortgage. I have had this policy for 20yrs and is due to mature in 5yrs time.
If CO-OP go 'belly up' what are the possibilities for my policy ?.

Is the policy now held with Royal London, who took over their investment business? If it is, I guess you shouldn't be worried. The bank are unlikely to go belly up, the group that run the food shops and so forth well thats another story!0

yes, Royal London took over the pension business of Co-operative Group. it ought to be safe there.
