I think DW and her brother will be clearing out mother-in-law's house in July. That means that we will have a whole house full of used articles to get rid of. Are any of the nice people interested? Otherwise, it will go to the charity shop.
Potentially, depending on what there is & location (as PN mentions).
If worthwhile, I'd travel. Be worth it just to shake your hand :)
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

I was under the impression that you can't mix ibuprofen and aspirin as they're both xxx (NSAIDs?).

If caffeine cures a headache, that sounds like withdrawal and relief from access to the drug. Not judging just saying.

Yes and no. it also makes other drugs more effective and is a treatment for some types of headaches:

I'm about 100 miles away at a guess, about 3 hours door to door by car.

Caffeine helps migraines. It does something to the blood vessels in the brain I think. I read it online and I will have a coke if I feel one coming on. It doesn't help regular headaches.

You can't mix ibuprofen and aspirin, you'reright. You can take ibuprofen, paracetamol and codeine though, the hospital gave it to me but not a prescrition for it after my op. My liver was screaming after two weeks of constant pain relief. I stopped when the tummy ache was worse than the throat.

Caffeine is what's stopped me going completely into one at Royal Mail this afternoon, who have now requested (for a third time) duplicates are sent to them

I didn't know the medical stuff Doozer, interesting stuff.

Don't quote photo, will delete, but she does know I've put it up here.

Yes. But also no. It is my home. It feels like home. But not a "proper" home. I have not yet achieved a level of sorted-out-ness that makes me feel that things are OK even if not perfect. My standards aren't particularly high, either.

Someone said to me after I'd bought my house that it took them a year to feel as though their house was 'theirs' after they'd bought their own. That took the pressure off which I was feeling - it's OK to 'grow' into owning a place.

Tee hee. :D I will see your piles of paperwork, and raise you the following:
    * two enormous packing boxes of random stuff - not because they've never been unpacked, but because they were the handiest place to put the chaos when I couldn't think what else to do with it and didn't want it to stay where DD had left it (ie all over the floor)

I don't foresee my 2 still-packed boxes ever becoming unpacked boxes because they're just such a perfect height for seedlings ... ;)

The law of unintended consequences. I had 32 pairs of white socks of DS2's to wash, amongst his home-from-uni clutter. Having drilled him in whites always being washed separately he had calculated that it was often a lot less hassle to go to Primark and buy new pairs of socks than buy washing powder and pay for the launderette and waste hours washing and drying the dirty socks.

    Excellent! :rotfl:
