Court on Monday - couple of questions please

Hi all. I've been following this board for months and after advice from Step Change, bankruptcy is my only option. I'm in court on Monday & very nervous. Just a couple of quick questions please.
1). Do I take my bank statements with me or does the OR request these later?
2). When I got married in 2006 I moved in with my husband in a house that he owned outright. We split up in 2011. I paid half the utility bills while I was living there but nothing towards the upkeep of the house. My name is not on the deeds and I was never named on any of the utility bills.
Is the OR likely to say I have a financial interest in the property?
Thank you :-)

Best of luck for Monday. Try and relax and enjoy your weekend

1) Take what you have. Anything that you don't have they can apply for, but best to be as helpful as possible.
2) No. (my opinion)AD March 2014

Thank you for replying, after reading lots I just wasn't sure although it seemed unlikely. I'll take my statements with me but I only have about 6 months worth. It shows willing.
Just need to go through my forms once more today then that's it. Deep breath!!
I'm hoping my case is simple and straight forward. I had to stop work to care for my parents & income support and carers allowance isn't enough for my debts. I was managing them fine while I was working.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

The court does not need statements. The OR may request them later. Saying that, if you are worried it will do no harm to take what you have. Just be prepared to bring them home again.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

The post has just been and my letter confirming income support hasn't arrived. The letter I have here will be out of date by about 5 days. I presume I'll have to pay the court fees and then claim back?SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

Possibly. I seem to recall that the court can now given some latitude? Fort example they might let you off if undertake to provide the proof or come back and pay the fees within a certain number of days? Really only the court can say.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

You may, many courts differ so much, so it's hard to answer, some will except your latest bank statement showing benefit payments other don't, so do have the monies if you can and claim back later.
Best wishes

Thanks both, I'll take my recent letter which shows my income support for the coming year and bank statements. I can borrow cash if need be.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
