Tesco credit card.

I'm on my husbands tesco credit card & went to apply on line to get one in my name, it asks if you already have a card & if so phone them direct.
Why is this & is there any point phoning or will they just say no

Doing the house up ---- M&S 0% till nov. [strike]£4660[/strike] [strike]£4530[/strike] £4530moved to A&L 0%
& over spend this month [strike]£700[/strike]£300
total todate [strike]£7010[/strike]£5280
mortgage !!!!!!£107000 18years left 5.25% fixed 5years.

Think it will mean if you already have a card in your name as the main cardholder, would be to check on why someone would need a second card. If you are just an additional cardholder on your hubby's account you wont need to phone them0
