Carers allowance payment

Morning all,
I have just checked my bank and it seems I have had 2 lots of Carers allowance one at the new rate and one at the old rate.
Anyone else had it or know why?

The new rate is £61.35 from the 7th April, but what is the frequency of payment you receive? ie weekly, monthly.0

I know some who receive their's monthly (three weeks in arrears, and one week in advance) believe it's also possible to be paid every thirteen weeks, although I suppose most do receive it weekly in advance.0

I have had a payment for £63.28 and a payment for £59.750

Do you also claim the carer premium? But that of course wouldn't explain the £63.28. Looks like an error unfortunately.0
