call the DWP first thing monday and ask them for an exact date of payment, although I recon you will get a payment by next week anyway.

    Hi

Ring up income support and ask for an emergency payment this is paid around 80% what you should receive. If you do not get any joy go to your local mp and complain. Trust me MP enquirys have to be dealt with in so many days ans every jumps at the jobcentre when they come in

    Anyway goodluck

Phone them at least once a day - and preferrably find one person to hassle. I was severely depressed when I put in my claim and didn't chase it. As a result I lived off my credit cards for 9 months until they coughed up. BIG MISTAKE!
Chances are if your case is allready behind you will have to chase it every step of the way now.
As mentioned do contact your mp - and if you are doing it by letter be sure to drop a copy in to your benefits office, you never know it might just geee them along a little :p

Good luck, and I hope they sort it soon,

Do you mind querying what you have done since June 22nd in seeking employment? Are you unemployable due to sickness/health issues - you should look at incapacity/dla benefits?

Sorry to dishearten you but normally a claim can't be processed without a customer statement. The contact centre gather all the information and then once you have returned the statement it is passed to the relevant office for processing. Hopefully they should be able to process it within about a week but it depends if they need further information from you.
