I work at an Architects practice and we usually estimate £1000 - £1500 per meter square as a ball park figure.0

Then you should know it is a "metre" not "meter" (US spelling). If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

Hi
If its of any use, I had a 2 storey extension done a couple of years back.
Extension was 4.5m x 5.5m (total ~50m2 for both floors). Bifolds, underfloor heating, engineered wood flooring, some demolition and whole house re-roofed. £70K.
But that excludes the "pretty bits" such as new kitchen, new bathroom and decoration. When you include that, you're £90K before you know it.0
