I bought mine at Christmas and the one they sent was brand new! Mines is not the green one shown on the site but a white model. Brought my hall carpet up like new! Comes with a bottle of shampoo to get you started.

My hall carpet is cream and has been down seven years and having this machine has added years to the life of it as it looks brilliant after running this over it.

Similar Bissell models are double this price new at Argos, Amazon etc. Like I say the one I was sent was brand new.

Thank you for this, I ordered one late last night but have yet to get a confirmation of order email, is this usual being a weekend does anyone know please, I used quick method rather than registering.

The blacksmith - I used guest method this morning and got confirmation email within minutes. If you got the confirmation number on screen then it should work I would hope! Good luck!

I bought the green model reconditioned years ago, its still going strong and has been used regularly (I have 3 dogs). Wouldnt have anything else.

Thank you, I have a confirmation number which I had written down, I will ring them Monday & check. Can't find it in my History either which is a bit strange, maybe I should stay away from midnight purchases in future, thanks for your help:beer:.

They are usually a little damp once you finish cleaning as the machine usually sucks most of the water back up along with the dirt. I usually leave mine over night to air and its dry in the morning. But sometimes I don't bother and we walk on it with shoes on. They are not let wet for days so don't panic.

I ordered one this morning as a guest, I too have not had a confirmation email. I did make a copy of the confirmation number though so fingers crossed.

I put down sheets initially so that the carpet can be walked on, windows open and doors to try to dry them off asap. Then if a puppy is walking over the carpet, at least it's on the sheets, rather than a set of paw prints on the newly-shampooed carpet.
