HELP NEEDED ASAP! Parking Ticket on St. Giles, Norwich.

Hi All,
I recently received a parking ticket on St. Giles in Norwich (see link). Unfortunately, I have been incredibly busy with work and have forgotten to appeal or pay it within the 14 days!
I have a few ideas of ways in which I could appeal / get the fine reduced to 50% again (as if I was paying within 14 days), but I'm unsure as to which is the best approach.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
So basically, my first idea to deny any knowledge of the ticket until it comes through the post, and then ask for the 14 days reduced rate and opportunity to appeal, claiming that someone must have taken the ticket off of my windowscreen without my knowledge.
The other probably depends on the first, and was to appeal the ticket on the grounds that the bay is not wide enough to be considered a pay and display bay? It's a long shot and may sound daft but I think I remember seeing this on "Don't Get Done, Get Dom!", so I suppose it's worth a shot! Does anyone know the regulations on sizes of bays?
Any ideas would be more than welcome!
Many thanks in advance!

Don't be daft and DON'T post ideas for lies on pepipoo forum or they won't help!So basically, my first idea to deny any knowledge of the ticket until it comes through the post, and then ask for the 14 days reduced rate and opportunity to appeal, claiming that someone must have taken the ticket off of my windowscreen without my knowledge.
Yep and if it looks like a bay and is more or less marked/measured correctly then an adjudicator would say it is 'substantially compliant'. That Dom has no real clue. The other probably depends on the first, and was to appeal the ticket on the grounds that the bay is not wide enough to be considered a pay and display bay? And you haven't shown the whole PCN which pepipoo will need to see. So please, stop cooking up half-baked ideas and just find out from the experts whether you have grounds to appeal (not on lies about the PCN being removed - an excuse which doesn't get a discount re-offered anyway):
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30
SHOW BOTH SIDES OF THE PCN - AND DON'T COPY & PASTE THE ABOVE FIRST POST SUGGESTING YOU PLAN TO LIE!
Did you not realise that if you'd appealed within 14 days they would have rejected the appeal (as always at first) and extended the discount time further anyway? The part of the PCN you haven't looked at tells you this (the back). Too late for that now so there's nothing to be gained by paying it - you may as well appeal all the way as it's all or nothing now. Unless they do re-offer the discount when you appeal, then you can decide.
BUT DON'T JUST PAY THE FULL AMOUNT WITHOUT APPEALING AS THAT'S JUST POINTLESS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This council penalty ticket for £25 for not buying a pay & display ticket does highlight how outrageous are the PPCs charges of typically £100 for such 'crimes' as overstaying in a free car park by a few minutes.0

Especially as Councils generally rely on employees (traffic wardens etc) to issue tickets and have much higher running costs. Also, most PPC's make an income from managing the land.0 -
Would you care to elaborate on what exactly it is the PPC's do that amounts to "managing"?Also, most PPC's make an income from managing the land.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
