UKCPS Parking Charge Notice

Hi, i have received a parking charge notice ticket from UKCPS Ltd for £100 or reduced to £60 if payed within 14 days. I was parked in residential parking in my designated parking space for my flat, with my permit hanging from my rear view mirror and still received the parking charge notice. Can anyone give me some advice how to proceed with appealing against this ticket.
Thanx

Hi, a few quick questions:
1) Are you in England or Wales?
2) Was the parking charge received through the post or attached to the vehicle?0 -
If you are the registered keeper wait until you get the notice to keeper which must arrive between days 29-56. If you are not the registered keeper tell us now. If this is England or Wales there is a two stage appeal process, so tell us if this is so.
You'll be wise to read the sticky thread by coupon mad, it explains things in depth, it will give you a grounding into this scam, come back here if you have questions , but please provide answers on the above. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. Thanx both for the help i live in England, and the ticket was stuck on my windscreen, and i am the registered keeper0

In that case don't do anything yet. Wait for the letter to come through the post. In the meantime read the Newbies sticky thread and get acquainted with the process and the template appeal letters.0

Ok that sets my mind at rest, thank you for the advise, i'll let you know how i get on

Please be aware that this company and others are pretending to send out letters, but they are skipping the notice to keeper, and denying your right to appeal to them and popla. So you may want to send in an appeal now. Minus your address details, informing them to get those from the dvla after day 28 of ticketing. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. Storma, would this not identify the person sending the letter as the driver though? I guess its a trade off between getting a POPLA code or risk waiting for a letter which might 'disappear' in the post.0

Not really as coupon's template says they are the registered keeper, the driver could have given it to them. But it will still force them to get RK details from the dvla. So they will have time to think about it, and if sent by email to cancel the ticketWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you.
