Really?.....that's unusual. It's probably a stock clearance sale to refresh the stock, or the manufacturer have changed the design.
You just WONT admit that Argos have some stuff cheaper than U!

I'm not on here to advertise, so I'm not going to give any details about any of my products on here (there would be no point anyway because the post would be deleted).

Argos do sell some items cheaper than me, but only when they are on special offer. At other times they aren't cheap at all.

sorry for hijacking the thread but wondered if you could offer a little advise please? Im after a very frim, double mattress thats to go up into a loft conversion but the hole cut out is only 1m by 1m (would mean folding a double to get it up there). I fell in love with a real thick, firm mattress at our local showroom (cant remember the typre/model) but it was so thick, iwas worried bending it may damage it (I know it wasnt memory foam, saleman suggested mem foam but i tried one for 15 mins and didnt feel right - although after reading everyones praise for them i may return for another try) Would folding a double mattress for 10 minutes damage it? It'll need almost doubling over to push through.... but i know memory foam ones would fold a lot easier

Any advice? I may well PM you after test-driving at my local store

    Hi.

Never fold a sprung mattress as this could cause permanent damage. Most mattresses have a steel rod edge which makes them difficult to bend anyway. You have 2 choices really:

    1) Go for a zip and link mattress so that the mattress will be in 2 halves which can then zip together.

    2) Go for a rolled up vacuum packed foam or memory foam mattress.
