Getting worried about my seller

Can anyone advise, just over a week ago I purchased a buy it now from ebay, for several £100s

It had been advertised several months ago, and I had contacted the seller via ebay to ask if they would offer it at a lower price, as the retail price was cheaper than that being asked.

The seller came back after the item had finished, so they agreed to do a buy-it-now at the lower price and I purchased it immediately and paid via paypal.

The seller has now gone completely quiet. I have emailed a couple of times asking if they could confirm when the item has been posted and which carrier it is being sent with, as the item is rather large.

I am receiving nothing back from the seller. How long should I leave it before going back to the seller again. Also how do I find a telephone number for them, as I can't seem to navigate my way through ebay to find it. If I don't receive anything or any communication when do I file a non received item and how do I go about retrieving my money?

Thanks

Hi, if you haven't received anything or heard from the seller and it has been over seven days, I would put a claim in with Paypal as soon as possible.

If it is for a large amount, I wouldn't hang about!

Go into your Paypal account and raise a dispute, immediately escalate this and the seller will be notified by paypal. If he is reputable, he will get in touch as Paypal will put a hold on his funds if he hasn't already transferred them to his bank account.

    What is his feedback like?
Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!
    Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945
    Smoke free days = 11 Years :T
Cash saved so far = £125,45,11
  • Feedback is lower than 100, but all good apart from one at the beginning of trading.

I'll do the paypal dispute, thanks
