May seem a little insensitive but dropping a note through the letter box would seem the easiest way to make contact.

If it's been just over a fortnight the will may not even have been read yet if there is one. If the person has dies intestate this will make the whole sorting out process longer, and if they have to try to trace any next of kin the whole thing can drag on for months.
Best to just wait & see if there is any response to note as time goes on & keep eye on house for any signs of movement to show somebody has made entry & collected mail. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
