Private renting and dss question

Hi there, need some advice on behalf of my friend and was hoping people on here would be able to help :)

My friend is a single mother who works 6 days a week around little ones school hours (and has a babysitter for the day shes not at school) as this only works out at part time hours she claims dss to help pay rent.

Her current rented home is due to go on the market so needs to find somewhere else asap, trouble is she cannot find anywhere to rent privately that will take someone claiming dss, does anyone know of any companies that will consider her?

hope somebody can be of some help :)
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!

Hi - I'm in Southampton and I've managed to find a few agents who will consider housing benefit. My local council supplied a list of agents who would accept HB so maybe it's worth her asking hers?

If worse came to worse she would be classed as homeless so would get help from the council housing if she needed it.
