carers allowance/esa+working from home

Hi I'm really sorry as my post is pretty complicated and long but any help is most appreciated...
My partner is disabled and he gets high mobility+care DLA and i get carers allowance...We also get ESA(which he has claimed from July 2013)...he has never had a medical for ESA...From what i've read on here when he eventually has a medical from the Benefits agency doctors they COULD rule him fit for work as they are pretty brutal, despite him already having a BUPA medical report saying he's not fit for work, and his doctor and the hospital consultant also back him up on this...
I'm possible worrying unnecessarily but if they deemed him fit for work, then he obviously wouldn't be able to, so then presumably i would have to go out to work.
I've got 3 children and always been a stay at home mum so I've got NO job experience, however over the past year and a half I've been putting a portfolio together of fashion items together which have proved very popular

Does anyone know if i can set up my own business from home so that i can still look after my partner and children?it would be the perfect solution as obviously my partner can't work OR look after the children:)

You can earn up to £100 a week and still claim CA. Make a start with your business and see how it goes.

As the partner of a person on ESA you can earn up to £20 a week without the ESA being affected. As the above poster says if you're not getting ESA any more then you can earn £100 per week without your carers being lost.

Once you're working over 24 hours per week you can claim working tax credits too.
