    OK great.

So is it OK to send the appeal off to POPLA then as it is? I'll email and post it (and get proof of posting).

Apologies again if this is going over old ground but I don't want to submit a sub standard appeal that wont succeed!

Thanks again in advance for your experienced help.

  • Hi again
    Just a quick question....
Which reason do I tick in the POPLA appeal box?
The parking charge exceeded the appropriate amount, or, I am not liable, or both?

Any, or all except the 'Stolen Car' one. This is standard forum advice and regardless of how many (or few) have been ticked, this has never been an issue where POPLA might have said something to the effect 'Sorry, wrong box ticked, doesn't apply to your case, appeal refused'.

So don't worry unduly about it - tick what you want, and send it off.

  • Thanks again all. I did try and look for this but couldn't see it anywhere.
  • Right, well my POPLA appeal has been sent via their website. I'll send the hard copy (with proof of posting) tomorrow.
Once again thanks to all, for your help and advice. I will let you know how I get on. I only hope they don't drag it out too long to reach a decision.

Now for my letter to McD's CEO!!
