Parking Ticket & Appeals

Hi,
I've had a parking ticket on my car £60. I live in a rented flat, where I have a parking bay allocated to the flat I rent. I have a parking permit for parking in the bay. I took my parking permit of the night before I was due to have a new car delivered the next day. I was fined for not showing my parking permit.
I appealed to the "UK Car Park Management", showing the collection and delivery receipts for the old and new car, printed of a pic of my new car displaying my parking permit, sent of credit card statements etc showing I'm a resident of the property. On the back of the parking ticket they say please allow up to 14 working days for a response. That day came and went yesterday, I called them and they said I will get a response by Wednesday, they said they have 35 days to respond.
Anyway, the ticket is on a company car so I can't just ignore it like others have suggested online. But I don't think I should have to pay it as I can prove I'm a resident and that the parking bay is allocated to the flat I rent. They said I can appeal to "POPLA" if the claim is rejected.
How likely are POPLA to rule in my favor? And do they have the power to order the parking company to revoke the fine? If not should I take this to court? I'm considering doing so if necessary.

You shouldn't ignore it regardless of who owns the car - you've clearly read the wrong information.
I'm assuming you've already told them your address and name and that you were the driver ? If so then you wait for their rejection letter with the POPLA code and then appeal to POPLA using the examples in the Newbies thread.
Post your appeal here before sending - we have a 100% success rate at POPLA."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
Just looked at the appeal threads, there's an overwhelming amount of information so much so that it's hard to know where to start for my particular circumstance. And going by the popla website my example doesn't appear to be one where I have grounds for appeal. It's only £60 I'll probably just pay it and I won't give them a chance to ticket me again lol0

Whooooaaaahhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why would you pay it ?????????????
Simply :
1. Appeal to the PPC
2. Await the rejection
3. Appeal to POPLA ( using the templates provided )
What is so difficult about that ?"The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
When you appeal the PPC identify yourself as the keeper of the vehicle (not the driver and not the registered keeper).0

Re-read the NEWBIES thread - there are always grounds
The particular circumstances are largely irrelevant
What matters are the legal arguments0 -
What does PPC mean? I can't find a template to suit the example I gave...0
-
private parking company - list abbreviations on post #2 of NEWBIES thread0

PPC means "Private Parking Company" - as explained in the NEWBIES thread ( which you have either not read or not read properly ).
Just appeal to the PPC for now ( using any excuse you like ) but you will need to put a little more effort into your POPLA appeal.
If you can't be bothered to spend around an hour doing the POPLA appeal then you might as well pay the charge and sleep soundly knowing you've paid a con."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
