You can have as many consolidation loans as you like (or the Bank will allow). The loans have not been mis-sold.

However, you have a strong case for mis-sold PPI if it was front-loaded onto such a consolidation chain and you should lose no time in sending your complaint.
  • Hi thanks for your reply I have logged a complaint with lloyds but didn't mention the consolidation chain as I only now have noticed this should I bring this up in the conversation I will be having with them over the telephone nothing was ever explained to me about the ppi and especially not that I would be paying interest on top of ppi ppi it was sold as not an option but having to take it out

I'm not sure why you are planning to ring them, but the only important part of your complaint is that the PPI was front-loaded onto a consolidation chain of loans. They'll clearly be able to see this from their records which your SAR confirmed they still have.

There is no need to try and add amendments to your complaint after you've already sent it, nor to ring them during the eight weeks they have to consider your complaint.

Just sit back and wait for their response..
  • Thanks for reply I'm not gunna ring them I meant when they ring to discuss the complaint sorry if I'm not making any sense this is all new to me thanks for your advice
