What happens now, after a DRO?

Hello my Debt Relief Order has ended as of yesterday 13/03/2014.
I would like to clear my credit report / file up as i have the following still showing on my credit report.
Financial Account Information.
Capital One - Balance £121 - Status - Default
MicroCredit - Balance £444 - Status - Default
EE LTD - Trading as Orange - Balance £183 - Status - Default
EE LTD - Trading as T-Mobile - Balance £707 - Status - Default
Shop Direct Finance Company LTD - Balance £368 - Status - Default

How can i have these changed from Defaulted to Settled if this is possible now as my understanding is once my Debt Relief Order has ended these should be marked as Settled to clean up my credit report.
Any help would be great as trying to get this debt stuff fixed and sorted once and for all.

You follow an almost identical procedure to the:

Credit Reference File Clean Up Post Bankruptcy

Instead of the date of bankruptcy you use the date of your DRO start, and intead of date of discharge you use the end date of your DRO and adjust the rest to suit.

    An example letter is below.

Also you can raise a dispute via whatever credit reference agency has anything wrong on.
    Your Address
    Goes Here

    Data Controller Address

    Dear Sirs

    Re: Account Number xxxxxxxxxxx

After consultation with both the Information Commissioner and the Credit Reference Agencies, I am writing directly to you to request that you formally update my credit files in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

I was subject to a Debt Relief Order which commenced on <Date of your DRO> and subsequently discharged on <Date of Discharge>, and <name of creditor> was included within the DRO.

For your convenience I have attached <whatever evidence you have of the DRO and it's completion>.

Currently the information that you have recorded against my name with the Credit Reference Agencies is factually incorrect, and despite several written requests to your customer services , as yet your company has failed to correct the entries as required.

    • It is required that you record a default on the account, and that the default entry must be no later than <Date of your DRO>, in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

    • It is required that you mark the account in some way as to indicate that it is settled or satisfied, in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

The Information Commissioner has indicated that I should allow you 28 calendar days from the date you receive this letter to comply, during this time you are requested either to update the Credit Reference Files correctly (of all three Credit Reference Agencies) or notify me in writing the reasons that you refuse to.

After the 28 days have elapsed the Information Commissioner has requested that I inform them if your company fails to update the records so that they may take any necessary enforcement action against your company.

    Yours faithfully

I am just about to do all these letters and send them off, however I am a bit unsure how I prove my DRO has been completed, as we don't receive anything when its complete how do we prove we did indeed finish it?

Exactly this, mine ended yesterday and I'm keen to update things, Noddle won't allow me to dispute the DRO 'active' status without a 'court letter'.

Do you really need credit again right now? If not just be patient, they should all fall away after 6 years on their own without you doing anything?

Most people exiting bankruptcy or a DRO are unlikely to be seeking credit immediately, but by the law of averages most will make at least one credit application at some point in the following six years. That's why it's in their interests to start the clean-up process promptly while it is not particularly urgent.

No. However reading on here I note that some people have found their information still showing as defaulted and not resolved up to 18 months after the end of the moratorium period.

I want things sorted ASAP for peace of mind.
