Kevin Reynolds from the BPA speaks to Connor Gillies on 'major concerns' with private parking firms
Quite long at over 16 minutes. Connor Gillies seemed to be misinformed in some aspects and I felt myself wishing he was asking different questions.
He did mention that after lots of investigation into the Scottish court system they found out that not a single person has been taken to court over an unpaid PCN in Scotland.

A number of PPC's have attempted to sway members of the public by quoting the Edinburgh case of Daniel Onifade dating back to 2004 which Mr Onifade lost . One particular PPC even managed to infer that it had been their case when nothing could have been further from the truth.
The case involved Edinburgh University pursuing Mr Onifade for numerous (I think well over 20) charges at £30 a pop. He admitted he had seen the signs, admitted he knew he was liable and admitted he hadn't paid.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
The BBC have an article about parking on their website at the moment.

I complained earlier today that they haven't stated that the law is different in Scotland, since then they have added a bit about clamping having been illegal here since 1992 but still haven't made it clear that the article is only applicable in E&W.0 -
