    Morning all!

I tried on wedding dress no 3 and I LOVE IT! I am going to stick with this one! I'm so pleased, and a bargain at £21 :-) Just need to get rings, shoes and underwear sorted.

So this weekend I need to return my old dress to the shops and will pick up some things for our holiday whilst I'm there as the dog ate my sunglasses.

My aim for the next week is to tackle a room at a time and deep clean the house. We've got a guy coming to do the electrical certificate in a few weeks, good timing really. Shall start with the hall way as this should be the easiest and go from there.

Dinner tonight is courtesy of my dad, I think it will be curry, so no cooking for me!

    Hope everyone is okay x

Went to bed full of emotions and grumps last night and woke up with even more this morning. Millie dog got me up twice. I'd just settled down for the second time and then hubby was ill. He had severe pains in his stomach.

'I think I ate too many Tyrozets' he said.

He'd come back from work with a sore throat, grabbed an unopened box of tyrozets out of the cupboard and started chomping on them one after another.

'Why how many have you taken?' I asked.

    'About 5' he answered.

The correct dosage is 1 every 3 hours! Still, he's never been any good at taking advice or following rules.

I need a holiday.... preferably on my own!:)

Steak and BJ day? The mood I'm in... never in a million years!

Have a great day all :)

Had porridge for breakfast, loaded up dishwasher and tidied kitchen.

Loaf is in the breadmaker and have pea and ham soup from yesterday and some cold chicken to make a small salad with for lunch.

Managed to have a nice long shower and shampoo and dug some trousers and a top that used too be far too tight to wear out of the wardrobe. Even threw out a few tops that are now a bit baggy and I am sick of the sight of. Have decided to wear colours as the weight starts to go rather than skulk about in blacks and greys.

Planning mince with veg and tumbled potatoes from the bikers book for tonight and went to Aldi yesterday for lots of fruit and veg.

Kitchen needs a good vac and mop so will do that this afternoon after doing messy bits of cooking.

Where did you find your wedding dress?. One of my DDs gets married next year but doubt we can find such a good deal.

    Hester

Keep well out of the line of fire pet.

    Hugs to all

Elona - It's actually from Dorothy Perkins! But the 2nd one I bought was from BHS - and that was also reasonably priced at £90 - they had loads of lovely dresses in there, so I recommend having a look there.

Beautiful here today and all the beds have been stripped.

I love when I can get it on the line.

DH wants main meal early again because he has to pick DD up from work so he is going to the gym tonight, he certainly is getting his money's worth.
He seems so much brighter as well :)

I am off out in the garden for an hour and then I will get dinner on.

  • Good afternoon all,
Sun is out, been a lovely day so far.
Have been feeling out of sorts lately so i haven't bothered to post.
Dd started work last Monday and is enjoying it. Working full time has come as a bit of a shock to her, so she enjoys her weekends off. Other dd is off to the O2 at the weekend to see a concert, so she can't wait. I dare say she will be full of it when she gets home.
Hester, well done to your ds x
Bitsy happy birthday, hope you have a great day x
Tea tonight is sausage casserole with potatoes and veg.
I hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those who need them.

    Evening all,

    Bitsy - Happy Birthday :)
Hester - Very jealous of your DD's pram. I would have loved one when mine were babies but it wouldn't have fitted in the hall!
NPM - totally agree with you. I hate the look of those car seat buggy things!
Hilstep - Glad the scan gave you good results :)

Had a nice day, work first thing then met up with the girls for coffee and a catch up before going to work again. Changed bed and got the washing dry again. Loving this sunshine.

    Have a lovely evening.
