    Well that is what I wanted to do. My solicitor is advising against this stating that it will void the policy if I approach them and making them aware of the issue means that the risks will increase. I agree that we are not resolving anything with this indemnity policy. But she is supposed to be acting in my best interest. My sellers solicitor also apparently agrees.

    So I don't know what to do now other than wait.

    Im not overly concerned about when we come to sell it as we dont plan on moving again its the right size for us to grow as a family in, but am aware that if we did it could become an issue. My solicitor has not been most helpful and insists this is the best way forward.
