lodgers on housing benifits question

The only lodger I ever had problems with was the one who looked round with family. It smacks of someone who can't get their life together. It would ring alarm bells for me. Depends how desperate you are for a lodger, I guess. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

Apologies for the spelling I will agree with the fact that Ido need to use it when posting on the forum.
Well the person came round yesterday and they seemed fine tome, as mentioned going by gut instinct I agreed to take them on. 1.) Because theyseem a genuine person, 2.) I do need someone in there soon as now but wouldhave been willing to wait. 3.) I think the just need a chance.
I have spoken quite a bit with the person just so where bothclear on things they have assured me that even if things went wrong that theywould still be able to cover the rent. Which is good to know.
I will give the council a call now and see what they say.
