Hi

I got your contact from MSE and thought you are the right person to help-
I have received parking ticket in wicks car park as was shopping there, but it says in the car park dont parkk there for more than 90 minutes but i was there for longer time as my car would not start and had to go and get Jump start leads from friend and start and finally took it to garage and they replaced the starter motor.

I have sent every evidence i have to prove Contractual parking service but they refused my appeal and said they only approve and accept AA and RAC letter which is silly and unreasonable.
Could you please tell me what do i need do simple ignore them or Pay them as it says on letter if not paid in 14 days they will double the amount.
please help.Many thanks

Have they given you a POPLA code with their letter rejecting your appeal?

The forum will help you do another 2nd level appeal.
Ignore the threat s about having to pay - they are just trying to scare you.
With the help here you won't be paying anything
But no you should not ignore them
But we're going to need some details from you
Is the Parking company Contractual Parking Services?
When did the rejection letter arrive?
Does it mention anything about your right to appeal?

My money is in Combined Parking Services (OP says the charge is doubling) and its another perculicious set up (OP has admitted to CPS they stayed beyond time limit).

Well why not draft a POPLA appeal then seeing as the sticky threads tell you all about it? Which PPC?

According to Parking Cowboys POPLA code checker this is a G24 code.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
