We have received a form from the police stating that we failed to report an accident. We have absolutely no knowledge of this accident (although we were driving on that road at the time/date stated) and have returned the form and have contacted the police. The police say that they will investigate the matter further.
Question: do I need to notify my insurance company whilst the police investigate?
Thanks

If you have no knowledge of an accident what would you say to the insurance company?
Wait for the police to get back to you.0 -
Thanks Scotsbob - needless to say we are finding the whole thing very stressful!0

Have they said what damage was caused?
Might be worth taking some photos of your car to show there is currently no damage.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
