Nokia 770 Tablet PC for £82

Options
Found this on hotukdeals

It’s a All in one internet tablet PC

It has:
· Touch screen - 800x480
· WLAN 802.11b/g
· Bluetooth
· USB

Should be good for web browsing, email and streaming video as the resolution is far greater then any PDA I know of.

If anybody has one then please comment.

Does anybody know of anything similar that also incorporates a mobile phone? Bit of a pain having to carry 2 things around.

I just got a Nokia E61 (around £80 second hand on ebay) which does a pretty good job of browsing via wifi. It's also just about small enough to be a comfortable phone. I can't imagine you'll get anything with as big a screen as the N770 that is actually usable as a mobile.

But more generally any Nokia N or E series phone (with wifi) or equivalent from another manufacturer would do the job.

Isn't that a bit like saying I don't want an iPod because my mobile plays MP3s, or a digital camera because my phone does that too, or a PSP to keep me amused because, yep you guessed it, etc (PDAs, paper notepads, watches, torches, calculators?). This is for people who want to be able to browse the internet much more comfortably than you can on a device designed to do something else. That said, if you want something designed to do both jobs take a look at o2's XDA range; my o2 XDA Exec used to be pretty nifty online (albeit I had to use a bluetooth headset to make phonecalls comfortably).
