If you paid Amazon, surely your contract is with them and they should sort things out.

Did you try the steps outlined in Zandoni's link? Just to make sure it is definitely a hardware issue and not a setting.

    Dear Members,

Yeah the green one is the major issue still humming nothing else with the use of ear and headphones.

ASUS are still adamant even in the circumstances of the sellers bankruptcy; Amazon's seller invoice, PayPal statements, Barclays Bank personal statement, and even a www.linkin.com profile I found of the seller.

ASUS will not honour their guarantee, I have never had this sort of non-acceptance in my life.

But did you buy it from a third party seller through Amazon or not?

As pointed out in the post immediately before yours, Amazon UK do not take payments via Paypal.
So if you have an Amazon invoice, you could not have used Paypal, could you?

If you have a Paypal statement with the purchase showing, then you did not buy from Amazon.

    So, which is it?

    From their website, Amazon say:
About Payment Methods We Don't Accept

There are certain payment methods that you can't use at Amazon.

    We don't accept:
      cheques or postal orders
      cash in any currency
      book tokens
      purchase orders
      international wire transfers
      direct debits or standing orders
      PayPal
  • Dear ianders,

Yes, thank you for the link, but sadly no luck, still having the same issue.

    Kind regards, Jonathan
  • Dear Bantax,

Payment was made via PayPal but still within the realms of Amazon, so the RMA issue, still persists.

    Kind regards, Jonathan

    Dear Wealdroam,

Thank you for insight regarding Amazons payment options, but the third party seller using Amazon, simply did something to alter the payment to 'payment received' PayPal had confirmed the receipt of funds when in pre/post-purchase communications, the seller wanted a quick sale and knocked off 5% maybe it was because he knew he was being filled for Bankruptcy, so issue remains.

    Kind regards, Jonathan

This does not make sense, PayPal CANNOT be used on Amazon. Do you mean you found the seller on Amazon but actually bought direct using PayPal rather than going through Amazon? I can't think of any other way to explain this. This might be why the receipts don't satisfy the manufacturer, if seller was doing strange 'off Amazon' deals the receipt might not actually show the correct information .

If so then Amazon aren't involved at all you seller can't be much help so you will need to persevere with the manufacturer and their need for a receipt.

If that's the case, then where did your Amazon invoice come from?

As I said earlier, either you bought via Amazon or you used Paypal.
    It cannot be both.
