Scout Group - Switching electricity supplier

Apologies, but I am currently feeling extremely naive with energy switching!
From a personal point of view, I am more than happy with the process, and have been through it a number of times. However, as Chairman of a Scout Group owning its own premises, I am looking to reduce its energy bills. We are electricity only and have been with EDF (and its previous guises) for more years than I care to remember.
Is the process the same for charities and businesses as it is for domestic customers?
