Search for property by text field

Options
Occasionally I see houses for sale that have the following text in the description: "priced to sell", "must see this", "bargain" etc.

Is there a way to search for text like this in Rightmove or Zoopla or elsewhere as I would like to see if they are such a bargain. I cannot find a way to search for them. I come across them.

Is there a way to find houses that were reduced in price. For example, in Zoopla, if you find a house for sale and drill down into it then it will tell you what the original asking price was and what it is now (if it has changed), with a percentage fall or increase. However, you cannot search for this e.g. search for those with the greatest price increases/falls. Is there a way to do this?

Erm I can show you how to search for a property on rightmove with specific words in ...

But you need something like propertybee - don't know if it's still going though. That'd tell you the history of a property as long as someone with PB has viewed it.

You can set up searches on rightmove and get info emailed to you. Build up the data you're interested in yourself.

Are you researching the veracity of people's assertions that certain properties are a bargain, or are you looking for reduced property to buy?

If it's the latter, Property Bee is still alive...though a reduction, even a major one, is no guarantee of a bargain. ;)

PS. If it's the former, I can save you more time. Most of what EAs say is b*ll*cks.

    Google.

"priced to sell"+(city, town, village, street name)+"for sale"

But using Google won't show you the very latest results as Google doesn't index pages continuously. You wouldn't see things listed in the last couple of days at least...

You can do this via zoopla, put your search into the standard form, then click on more options and insert your search term. I did that recently to find houses built by a particular well regarded building firm and it worked fine.
