Now, I am over analysing things (as I do frequently). Ive decided she will either :

    Insult me,
    Not remember me,
Not recognise me (ive got golden blonde hair now which I hate),
Or she might just be nice like she was in November (but that was in front of my daughter and youngest son).
I particularly loved the bit where she said 'your not going to have any more children are you?':wall:

She did say one nice thing..... 'good to see you've still got dimples' as she pointed to the back of my hands. Not quite sure if that was a genuine compliment or a dig that I don't know what hard work is or a dig at my weight. Jury is out on that one.:o

JackieO so sorry to hear about DD's FiL's diagnosis. I agree with you, if all the energy that goes into senseless killing and maiming was instead diverted into curing illness, we could have the big C, MS, Motor Neurone, Lupus, Diabetes, and a zillion other conditions that cause pain and misery licked in no time.
Enjoy your new car; we got a new one in January, and stuck with a Jazz, because we liked the old one, and it's easy to transport the wheelchair in it.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • It was really foggy this morning and we both had a dentist appointment, the good news is I just need a clean :D Not bad seeing as I haven't been for three years, it is getting too expensive :( DH needs a small denture, and he goes every six months
We went shopping on the way home and I only spent £38 for the week not bad eh :D But I do need to get some eggs, so I will pop down to farm foods tomorrow and get a pack.

The fog has burned off and it is gorgeous so the washing is out on the line.

DH has to pick DD up from work tonight so we are having our main meal of lasagne, salad and garlic bread just before he goes back to work and he will go swimming when he finishes and as DD works at the gym it kills two birds with one stone.

DS has just gone out with one of his friends so no telling when he will be home.

DG sorry to hear of your neighbours sad news.

Off to potter in the garden for a bit

Well it's beautiful outside. I have abandoned cleaning the house and have been pottering in the garden . There is lot of moss which is taking over the grass so I have started raking it up . I've only done about a square metre lol but it's kn@ckering so it's going to take me a while to do it ,when I've done that I'm going to spike it brush in some sand and then re seed it

My veg seeds are coming up nicely in their pots on the window ledge no tomatoes are showing yet , but broccoli, cauli and courgette are doing well . Some others too but I can't remember what they are :o

I've had the guinea pigs running on the grass while I've been gardening. They have loved it , not that they have been running , they have just been sat filling their faces with grass lol

Off for a cuppa now xx

    Afternoon all,

I'm getting my new car on Monday Jackie, very excited that I will actually be able to get out of the house .
Another gorgeous day but started off very misty.
Fish and chips for tea and then the boys are off to football.
I want to sit down and work out our budget again, feel like things have been slipping a bit. Now I have my benefits in place I need to work things out again.
I've also spoke to the mortgage company and fingers crossed they will allow us to change to a repayment. I'm certain with a bit more careful planning we can manage it. My mind will be much more settled.
Fancy a bath while the guys are out and will get on reading my New Peter Robinson.
Have a good evening all x

    Evening all!
Just finished my first ever MSE challenge (march grocery challenge), went over by £37.46 which is still good compared to before so quite pleased.
Change of plan for tea, my OH rang me at lunch to ask if we could have fish fingers chips and beans, his favourite :D so sausages for tomorrow instead.

Bit of a random update, just felt a big pleased with myself for only going a little over budget, going through receipts and spending book now as pay day tomorrow, so can see what extra I can save next month.
Have a lovely evening everyone :T
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
    Mum to two boys :heartpuls
