Dog age in human years

    These conversions are meaningless as lifespan depends on breed. Many tiny dogs live well into their teens, whereas some of the giant breeds are lucky to reach double figures.


    I have two cavaliers, one 11 this month and the other 10 in September. The former has been a plodder for years, yet the latter is very juvenile. I found the same with two springers, several years ago; one year apart in age, yet years apart in behaviour.
