If its on his cards and you arent named on those cards, it cant be your debt.
Stop giving him leftover tax credit and child benefit. Your kids are going without because he is in debt.

If he wants to sort this, get him in touch with an organisation such as stepchange and see if he can get the payments he needs to pay out reduced and the interest frozen but for gods sake whatever you do do not take on half of his debt, you will bitterly regret it if you do.

Citizens advice and step change. Maybe some other posters will have other ideas of people you can speak to.

Not sure why you deleted your post OP. You have nothing to fear, and I feel so sorry for your situation. I hope you follow PaulineB's advice and are able to break free xx

I agree, why delete? There are people on here who could support you, if you dont face up to all of this and I understand its not your debt, life isnt going to get any better for you and your kids.

are you afraid he will read the post and know who its about?
you have been given good advice from what I see. another piece of good advice is to search how to hide your internet history from other PC users.

Im actually amazed that someone posted a long thread asking for help and deleted it a minute later.

Considering other posters have recommended learning how to hide internet history, and being able to break free from the situation the OP finds herself in, I hope it was her that deleted her post and not someone else.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

me too marisco! but if it was someone else I think they would have left the post blank.

I think someone was asking for advice - but very scared 'someone else' would find out. I hope they stayed long enough to get the advice needed. or can come back and access it under another username.
