Hi all
Can you please help me? I need another cable but don't know what it is called!
It's a mains cable for a TFT style screen? Also are they the same as the mains cable for a desktop tower? I don't have a clue about names / voltages etc.
Will add photo below.

Thanks that is really handy will Bookmark it!
So it seems to be C13 would it be likely that it would be the same for a Screen and Tower?
Where is the best place to get a really cheap one as only going to need it temporary!"Things can only get better.................c/o D:Ream #The 90's

Look on Amazon or Ebay - they are generically known as "Kettle Leads" - cost from a couple of pounds upwards depending on length.
Any computer/electrical repair shop will have loads lying around and sell you one v cheap.0 -
C13 is the standard for desktop PCs.
Newer screens tend to use DC 'brick' power supplies but older ones used the same connectors as desktop PCs so it's very likely to be a C13 on the screen too.
If you go into any electronics/computer store and ask for a 'kettle lead for a computer' you'll get a C13 lead.
Or search 'kettle lead' on Amazon for cheap.0 -
Thank you both!

You're welcome

Incidentally, if you need a lead for an actual kettle, don't ask for a kettle lead!0 -
